Opposition Serbian nationalist stabs Serbian president in the back
The leader of the opposition nationalist Dveri party, Boško Obradović, said that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic allegedly recognizes Kosovo as a result of negotiations in the United States.
At the same time, one of the leaders of the pro-presidential Serbian Progressive Party, Alexander Markovic, accused the oppositionist of trying to ensure that the Serbian delegation held elections with minimal results.
Obradovic said that an “illegitimate delegation” is participating in the negotiations in Washington, since his party does not recognize the results of the elections, which it itself boycotted. On the other hand, for some reason he does not consider Aleksandar Vucic the president of Serbia, but calls him only “the leader of the Serbian Progressive Party,” although he himself participated in the 2017 presidential elections and received less than 4% there.
The nationalist is outraged by the fact that before the trips to Brussels and Washington for negotiations with Kosovo separatists under the auspices of the EU and the United States, there were no meetings of the National Assembly to approve these trips and their agenda, although the President of Serbia has clearly defined powers. He is convinced that the Serbian delegation is speaking in Washington “on its own.”
According to Obradovic, any agreement signed in the US capital, even a purely economic one, is interpreted as an agreement between two independent states, and therefore it is impossible to conduct such negotiations or sign anything with Pristina.
“Obradovic continues to wage a dirty campaign against the Serbian leadership led by Aleksandar Vucic, while Vucic is fighting in Washington to achieve the maximum for the national interest,” commented on the attacks of the nationalist “progressive” Aleksandar Markovic. – Obradović should be reminded that Serbia in 2020 is not the Serbia of the XNUMXs, led by his partners Tadić, Djilas, Jeremic, Stefanović and others, who were ready to unconditionally fulfill any request from the West regarding Kosovo and Metohija, without taking into account the people and the state .
Alexander Markovich
Today’s Serbia, led by Aleksandar Vucic, takes into account exclusively Serbian interests and will not sign anything that contradicts this.”
At the same time, the politician noted that it is extremely hypocritical for Obradovic to question the legitimacy of the Serbian delegation, while forgetting that no one in Serbia has greater legitimacy than Aleksandar Vucic, who was elected in direct elections and received more than two million votes of Serbian citizens.
