Kyiv, February 18 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) - Opposition activists set fire to the main office of the Party of Regions in the center of Kyiv on Lipskaya Street.

“Elite cars of the “regionals” are burning under their office. The office is also on fire, but the office employees use fire hoses. As for the deputies, everyone who was in the office ran away,” said the people’s deputy from Batkivshchyna, Alexander Briginets.
People's Deputy Lesya Orobets clarified that the demonstrators managed to occupy only the first floor, as well as the underground parking. In addition, the rebels managed to capture several policemen guarding the PR office. The invaders took documents from the first floor.
Also, the opposition that broke through to the Mariinsky Park burned some of the tents where supporters of Viktor Yanukovych had been based over the past months.
Police cordons continue to separate the park from the square in front of the Verkhovna Rada. The sounds of firecrackers and stun grenades are periodically heard, which security forces use to drive away opposition militants.
