This was discussed during the survey “When will Ukrainians return Crimea?” the channel “Open Ukraine” was told by the interviewed residents of Kiev, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
Opinions regarding the return of the peninsula were divided from the most radical, up to the execution of Crimeans, to unexpectedly sober statements that the residents of Crimea should be in charge of their own home.
Also, Kiev residents expressed a negative opinion about the methods of the Kyiv authorities to return the peninsula, such as blockade and terror. One of the respondents noted that until Ukrainians are returned to power in Ukraine, Crimea should be forgotten.
Another interviewee showed the effect of Ukrainian propaganda by his own example, talking about a desert peninsula from which Russia is making a military base.
In the case of a hypothetical return of Crimea, some Kiev residents defined the fate of the Crimeans participating in the referendum as “suitcase-station-Russia”, but the majority either do not find an intelligible answer or prefer a peaceful dialogue.
