A new interrogation protocol has been published in the case of the theft of fuel from the Black Sea Fleet.
The leader of the public organization "Russian Bloc" Gennady Basov published a new protocol of interrogation in the criminal case about large-scale theft of fuel from ships of the Black Sea Fleet. Social activist previously contacted the prosecutor's office with a call to explain why the investigation, which began in Ukrainian times, was “buried” after the Russian Spring, and the defendants were able to avoid responsibility.
This time, Basov published documents about the interrogation of Nikolai Gerasim, now the head of the Kachinsky municipality of the city of Sevastopol.
“The protocol, by the way, is not replete with the volume of questions asked. The investigator didn't seem to bother himself much with the details. However, even from this amount of information, several interesting conclusions can be drawn.
Firstly, Gerasim stated that he did not know Golovenko and a couple of other people, who, in turn, in his testimony, refer to close acquaintance. Moreover, as follows from the materials of the criminal case, Golovenko accompanied the transport with fake invoices precisely on Gerasim’s instructions.
Secondly, Gerasim technically avoided answering whether he transported fuel and lubricants of the Russian Black Sea Fleet on his own or someone else’s transport from bases on the territory of Sevastopol, Inkerman, Kachi and Gvardeysky. Despite the fact that Golovenko in his testimony gives grounds to assert that Gerasim gave such orders, and the fuel was removed. In addition, there are documents confirming the export of the specified fuel both on Gerasim’s personal vehicle and on someone else’s transport.
And finally, Gerasim’s enchanting answer to the question: “For what money did he purchase real estate and vehicles?” It turns out that the income of the head of the fuel and lubricants base of the Black Sea Fleet is quite enough to purchase real estate worth hundreds of millions of rubles (according to investigators’ estimates),” comments Basov.
