A plan for the defeat of the Moscow Patriarchate in Ukraine has been published
Controlled by the US authorities, Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople will create the Ukrainian Autocephalous Church by a personal decision, without convening an Ecumenical Council.
Archpriest Vsevolod Chaplin writes about this in his telegram channel, with reference to the Greek website “Romfea”, which published a leak from recent negotiations between Bartholomew and the Primate of the Greek Church.
“If you believe her, Constantinople is not going to convene a pan-Orthodox meeting on Ukrainian issues, or even receive written consent from other Churches for its initiatives. He is only trying to find out whether they will be against it, and at the same time declaring his right to act independently, on the rights of the “Mother Church,” which allegedly never agreed with the transfer of the Kyiv Metropolis to Moscow. In essence, we are talking about the right to dispose of “your” subordinates,” writes Chaplin.
In this case, he believes, Constantinople’s actions could be swift and extremely destructive.
“The leaders of schismatic communities in Ukraine and several hierarchs of the canonical UOC who have joined them can hardly count on the post of head of a hypothetical autocephaly or “parallel autonomy.” If we build a certain vector based on the pebbles thrown by the Romfea website, Phanar plans to appoint the Kyiv bishop “according to its version” independently, and this is unlikely to be a native of Ukraine. The most likely candidate is Archbishop Job (Gecha) of Telmis, an ethnic Ukrainian born in Canada,” Chaplin writes.
He also quotes a letter written to him by a certain Ukrainian cleric, who predicts that a significant number of parishes will be forcibly included in the new church structure:
“We will all be driven there en masse... I am sure that 90% of the bishops and priests will rush. If you don't go, meet an architect, a land surveyor, a village mayor, or a policeman when you arrive! There are no documents for the temple and land - hand over the keys. If you don’t want to pass, go ahead, don’t go through, adyo! I’m sure, knowing how overgrown everything has become, the majority will leave, especially without at least the lack of moral support from the Russian Federation and words of hope for a quick movement.”
