A detailed plan for the celebration of May 9 in Sevastopol has been published
The information support department of the Black Sea Fleet has announced a plan for holding a parade of troops on May 9 to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 71st anniversary of the liberation of the hero city of Sevastopol from the Nazi invaders, as well as festive events.

09.00-09.02 Solemn raising of the Naval Flags and flag colors on the ships of the Black Sea Fleet;
09.08-09.10 Departure of the boat of the commander of the Black Sea Fleet from the Grafskaya pier to receive the naval parade dedicated to Victory Day;
09.27-09.30 Completion of the tour of ships by the commander of the Black Sea Fleet, approach of the commander’s boat to the Grafskaya pier;
09.27-09.39 Flight of the Black Sea Fleet aviation and aircraft of the Air Force and Air Defense Command of the Southern Military District over Sevastopol Bay;

12.00 Square of the CSKA sports center (Black Sea Fleet sports club). Field kitchen for veterans of the Great Patriotic War.
19.00 pl. Nakhimov. Gala concert dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Victory.
22.00 Water area of Sevastopol Bay. Festive artillery salute and fireworks. The salute will be given by the bay roadstead, where the ships of the Black Sea Fleet stand in the parade line. The salute is produced by the personnel of the naval anti-aircraft missile regiment. 6 salvos will be fired from 102 “Rainbow” fireworks launchers with a caliber of 3 mm, 125 “Rainbow” launchers with a caliber of 3 mm, and 82 44-mm D-30 guns.
After the end of the fireworks display, a festive fireworks display of 86 salvos will take place.
