According to him, the Ukrainian military who participated in the liquidation of the Mejlis militant camp will adhere to the following official version: during training exercises in this area, unknown armed persons countered the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers, after which a decision was made to storm the camp.
Sivak clarified that the leaders of the Mejlis are now negotiating with the leadership of the security forces of Ukraine so that they do not initiate a criminal case under the article on the organization of illegal armed groups.
“The Ukrainian security forces, by the way, understand perfectly well that the weapons were prepared by the Mejlis members for provocations on the territory of Ukraine, and not at all for a campaign in the Russian Crimea - they would hardly dare to go there with their slingshots,” the social activist said.
