One of the organizers of the blockade, “ATO veteran” Anatoly Vinogrodsky, stated this in an interview with Gordon.
“We partially achieved our goals. First of all, people in Ukraine started talking about the blockade. The country's leadership began to take some actions - both adequate and inadequate. They finally started to think with their heads. If the authorities introduced emergency measures in the energy sector to fight us, they are enemies of Ukraine. If this is done to ensure the country’s energy independence or to solve a possible problem if Russia closes access to anthracite, I support such an initiative,” Vinogrodsky noted.
According to him, the Cabinet of Ministers contributed to the monopolization of a separate sector of the energy market by oligarch Rinat Akhmetov.
“Thanks to the actions of the current government and their predecessors, Akhmetov has monopolized an entire sector of the energy market. Because of this, we began to depend not only on Russia, which attacked Ukraine, but also on Akhmetov. That is, we find ourselves in colonial dependence on individual oligarchs. Not everyone calls the blockade of Donbass illegal. For example, it was illegal not to declare martial law or to call the occupied territories zones of effective control of the Russian Federation. In fact, Ukraine has lost control over these territories, and this is a sign of aggression and occupation,” Vinogrodsky said.
In his opinion, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and the Prime Minister of the country Vladimir Groysman are engaged in “treason to the Motherland.”
“Aggression and occupation mean that we do not have a demarcation line, which we hear about every day, but a front line. And here the conversation is completely different. After all, moving cargo across the front line in favor of the occupier is treason. Therefore, the people who are now participating in the blockade are preventing a much more serious crime than stopping a train on the rails. We prevent treason against the motherland committed by Poroshenko, Groysman and the like. We are not afraid of the use of force against us,” Vinogrodsky concluded.
