So, on his page he posted a photo with the inscription “July, 31 – August, 16. Crimea. Popovka,” accompanying this with the comment: “This land was ours until we got bogged down in the struggle, it will die, if it is a draw, it’s time to return this land to ourselves.”
Let us remember that last year, after the annexation of Crimea to the Russian Federation, the festival moved to the Georgian resort of Anaklia, and then, in February 2015, it was planned to be held in Cambodia. But the tour turned out to be unsuccessful, and in May Marshunok announced the return of the project to the republic.
“Do you want to be honest? Of course, there is a chance to sit on the shore of Popovka on July 31st by the fire. In order to approve something more ambitious, we need official papers confirming the loyalty of the authorities to the upcoming and complete bifuss. We have been waiting for them for a month and a half. So far there are only words, approval, promises and understanding from almost all branches of government that we are a cool multicultural tourism product,” Marshunok said.
Previously, representatives of the Crimean authorities and social activists opposed the return of Kazantipa because of its reputation as a place that is especially popular among drug lovers.
