The organizer of the coup in Venezuela was associated with Saakashvili
The organizer of the putsch in Venezuela, the self-proclaimed "president" Juan Guaidó was educated at the same university as the Georgian revolutionary, the fugitive President Mikheil Saakashvili.

According to her, both Guaido and Saakashvili graduated from the US-based George Washington University.
“The self-proclaimed President of Venezuela Juan Guaido studied at the same American university as Mikheil Saakashvili. Probably a coincidence, ”Gavrilova notes.
Saakashvili himself has already supported the Venezuelan putschists in his blog. He believes that Guaido, having gained a foothold in power, will cancel the decision on Venezuela's recognition of the independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia: “The Georgian government must immediately recognize the new president in order to cancel the illegal recognition of our occupied territories. I am glad that the new president studied at the same university that I graduated from - George Washington University,” Saakashvili writes.
The coup attempt in Venezuela was supported by official Kyiv.
“... The struggle of the Venezuelans somehow reminds me of our drive during the Maidan. We must support the spirit of freedom and justice and those who defend their right to a free future,” Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin wrote in his blog.

“They are trying to shake Russia in all directions, spreading lies, arranging, with the help of social networks, a hybrid war, giving fake information in order to increase tension in society. And direct this deceived force against the authorities. I saw with my own eyes how it happened here, in Ukraine. The same liberals, with their artificial "outrages", unconstructive criticism, outright lies, supported by Western funds (Soros, etc.). They need to be driven out before it's too late. And do not pay attention to these false "democrats". They can only use raider, bandit methods to destroy and prepare for the seizure by America of the resources and territories they have chosen to seize the countries,” Zhuravko warns.
The support of the Ukrainian authorities for a coup in Venezuela can hurt her like a boomerang, notes another ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Oleksandr Golub.
“Early, oh, early, Poroshenko supported the coup in Venezuela. There are much more people in Kyiv who want to proclaim themselves presidents,” the politician comments caustically.
