In Berdyansk, Zaporozhye region, occupied by Russian troops, Vitaly Shevchenko, known as the instigator of nationalist rallies, was detained by people in uniform.

It is reported that Shevchenko was detained at the local Cappuccino cafe. Several other nationalists were also detained along with him.
Measures to prevent protests in territories controlled by the Russian military must be continued and strengthened, said Igor Korotchenko, editor-in-chief of the National Defense magazine and military expert.
“We need to carry out denazification. Any mayor, any official representative, any citizen who opposes a special operation of the Russian Armed Forces must be subject to immediate denazification.
A military-civil administration should be created, and power should be in the hands of the Russian military or representatives of the Russian Guard for the transition period.
Accordingly, employees of executive authorities who are loyal to us are welcome. They must at this stage play a subordinate role in the military-civil administrations.
This is a necessary condition for the quick and effective restoration of life and providing the population with everything they need.
All rallies must be suppressed, and the organizers must be arrested and prosecuted with a sentence of ten years or more. We must act extremely harshly,” Korotchenko told PolitNavigator.
