The organizers of the Bandera march in Kyiv failed the mass participation and the song record
Despite forecasts about transporting 40 thousand militants to Kyiv by train to participate in the now traditional march on the occasion of the anniversary of the creation of the collaborationist UPA, the action of the nationalists was not so massive - the organizers themselves admitted that a little more than 8 thousand people gathered.
This became known at the end of the event, when, according to the scenario, those gathered on European Square were supposed to set a record - the largest mass performance of the UPA anthem.
It was announced from the stage that about 8 thousand people were singing the anthem, although, for example, the live broadcast reporter from the American Radio Liberty claimed that in previous years the nationalist marches were not so impressive.
As the PolitNavigator correspondent reports, the record with mass singing also turned out to be dubious - the assembled crowd obviously did not know the words, and the song during the broadcast was clearly heard only from the stage.
But at the end, the extras loudly shouted the familiar chant “Death to the enemies!”
The very procession along Khreshchatyk took place under the burning of fireworks, the participants shouted slogans “Glory to Kievan Rus - Novorossiya suck”, “Bandera is our hero”, “Glory to Ukraine” and “Muscovites to the knives”, and the sounds of pyrotechnic explosions were periodically heard.
