The organizers of the festival in Moscow are using tricks to show the action film of the Right Sector
The film “War for Peace” announced in the program of the documentary film festival “Artdocfest 2017” by Ukrainian director, Right Sector militant Evgeniy Titarenko, which poeticizes Nazi militants and the destruction of civilians in Donbass, was removed from the competition program.
This was reported by Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Andrei Kozenko. Previously, they sent statements to the FSB, the Prosecutor General's Office and the Investigative Committee of Russia with a demand to check the Artdocfest 2017 program for extremist films.

“The organizers were afraid of responsibility and prepared an emasculated version of the tape, where all prohibited symbols and extremist statements are covered with black squares and sound signals. However, they stubbornly continue to try to show the film in Moscow. This stubbornness can cost them dearly. Moreover, the Czech Center at the Embassy of the Czech Republic has been announced as the venue for the screening of “War for Peace”, in connection with which I have already prepared a corresponding appeal to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” said Andrei Kozenko.
The deputy emphasized that if the show does take place, it threatens an international scandal, since it will represent open support by the Czech Embassy in Moscow for Nazis and extremists, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It’s not even a matter of how many people come to the show. The fact is that the free demonstration of such films promoting and praising the murders of Russians in Donbass is a challenge to our entire society. And we are obliged to answer it. So that it would be disgraceful for others,” Andrei Kozenko is convinced.
The deputy also appealed to the festival organizers to abandon attempts to show films that not only violate Russian legislation, but are also unacceptable from a moral point of view.
