Organizers of the Kyiv gay parade announced 10 victims
After the end of the gay pride parade in Kyiv, there were several attacks on its participants. Representatives of human rights organizations and LGBT activists stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The march took place without noticeable incidents. During the march, his opponents took away one large rainbow flag and about 20 small flags. None of the opponents managed to get into the column and attack the marchers. Unfortunately, after the march it was not possible to avoid attacks,” said Zoryan Kis, coordinator of Freedom House projects in Ukraine, member of the board of the KyivPride NGO
“We know of seven cases of attacks on participants at the march. 10 people were injured. Compared to last year, not only did the number of attacks themselves increase, but this year an observer and also a journalist were attacked.
I'm sorry to say, but these attacks and violence were not only from our opponents, but also from the police. The police used force against the journalist,” said Ruslana Panukhnik, director of the KyivPride NGO.
