Leading analyst of the public organization “Public Audit” Taras Galaida stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, answering the question whether the Kremlin has anything to do with the organization of Ukrainian social protests announced in Ukraine by the so-called “Shatun” plan.
“As for the Shatun plan, the leading figures of our government are directly involved in it. With their decisions and resolutions, they themselves are primarily shaking the situation,” the expert emphasized. – Firstly, the tariffs were calculated in such a way that they absolutely do not fit into the population’s existing income level. Secondly, the bills that people receive are not only huge, they are also incomprehensible. The government can’t come out and explain why they are like this and what people can expect going forward.”
“Therefore, such confusion in payments and numbers is shaking the situation. This is due to the fact that there are people who are illiterate and there are those who purposefully take actions with specific commercial goals. So the basis for the “Shatun” plan, whether it is real or not, are the actions of the government and the Verkhovna Rada as well,” concluded Galayda.
