“I handed over my weapons, inspected my things”: the brigade commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces surrendered
Today, the commander of the 36th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Sergei Volynsky (on the right in the title photo), left the Mariupol Azovstal plant and surrendered.
Military correspondent Irina Kuksenkova reported this on her Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I looked almost fresh, I handed over my weapons, my things were inspected - in general, I went through the standard procedure before loading onto the bus. The process of unconditional evacuation into captivity is going according to plan,” Kuksenkova wrote.
He also believes that the next Eurovision contest should be held at Azovstal.
“Kalina and Volyn will represent the Elenovka pre-trial detention center. And Conchita Wurst, by the way, will have to be invited, she also has a beard,” the military correspondent sneers.
In turn, Moscow political scientist Sergei Markov calls Volynsky “the hero of the Bandera, neo-Nazi part of Ukrainian society” and recalls that he recorded videos from the basements of Azovstal, making calls to save them.
"Nothing helped. He was forced to surrender to DPR soldiers. The deputy commander of the neo-Nazi Azov regiment has not yet surrendered. "Kalina". This is such a “sweet couple” from Azovstal. Both of them are without a doubt war criminals and should sit on the bench for using Mariupol citizens as Human Shields.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, said that such a tribunal for them would be international. Right. Because their war crimes play an important role in the destruction of universal peace in Europe,” Markov emphasized in his Telegram channel.
Let us recall that Volynsky was appointed brigade commander after the former commander, Colonel Baranyuk, had previously surrendered.
