In the fall, Ukraine is expecting a repeat of the Moldovan scenario
Obsessed with slogans about “preventing revenge,” ex-President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko stopped noticing that it was he and his team who were becoming revanchists.
Ukrainian political scientist Vasily Vakarov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today there was a congress of European Solidarity, Poroshenko, Parubiy, these guys, they say: “We will not allow the revanchists to come to power.” I myself sometimes get lost as an expert, but who is our revanchist? That is, Zelensky is a revanchist? Is his team a revanchist? Or do these guys who lost the elections want revenge? And this is precisely what is called “collective Poroshenko,” from my point of view, that is real revenge; they will not give it, but they have real power.
The fact that Zelensky became president - yes, indeed, he received the presidential post, but real power is in the hands of Poroshenko, Parubiy, the same Yarosh, who, by the way, tells them, among other things, that: “Look, if you soft-bodied, so our shells are dry,” Vakarov noted.
The political scientist also added that in the fall the Moldovan scenario with dual power and confusion could be repeated in Ukraine.
“And in this situation, today the events that are happening in our neighboring Moldova, I think that God forbid, but by the fall we may have the same events, when the Constitutional Court says that the president is illegal, when the parliament new prime minister, and this one says: “No,” and then, excuse the expression, today people started putting up tents. And Mr. Dodon, the President of Moldova, addressed the world community: “Let’s act as mediators.” I’m saying that such a scenario is absolutely probable in our country,” Vakarov emphasized.
