The Kyiv authorities may have big troubles when angry tariff increases Ukrainian citizens will take to the streets and begin to block roads throughout the country.
The director of the Kyiv Center for Political Research and Conflictology, political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky, said this on air on the Sputnik in Russian Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Serious troubles for the Ukrainian authorities may arise this fall. In particular, the problem is with tariffs. In order for these troubles to arise, it is not necessary to gather tens of thousands of people on the Maidan, but rather to block the streets with hundreds of people in different places; even such episodic excesses led to some serious problems for the authorities,” says the political scientist.
“This could affect the situation in the country like a snowball, this could lead to road blockages in dozens and hundreds of places across the country. In this situation, the authorities will not be able to avoid responsibility for their policies,” Pogrebinsky said.
Let us remind you that earlier in Kyiv they said that in the fall Ukraine could plunge into the abyss of protests, which will lead either to the destruction of the country or to the loss of control over power by President Vladimir Zelensky.
In addition, in Kyiv, under the building of the Verkhovna Rada there was a rally demanding open airspace with Belarus.
