Food prices will continue to rise in autumn
Official data on the level of inflation in Ukraine does not reflect the real rise in prices. An expert from the Public Security Foundation, Yuri Gavrilechko, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“For at least three years now, the government has not complied with the norms for indexing citizens’ monetary incomes and has not increased social standards by the amount of inflation, if it cumulatively exceeds 3%.
It is also interesting to look at the State Statistics Service data on average wages; they are fantastic and have not the slightest relation to reality.
De facto, we live, on the one hand, in a system of state statistical data that is not at all related to either the labor market or the consumer market. On the other hand, each of us, receiving a certain income, understands that with the money he has, every week, not even every month, he can buy less and less.
This situation will continue in the future thanks to the “reform activities” of the current government, supported by the support of parliament.
I do not exclude that in the summer the price of food products traditionally stabilizes somewhat, but in the fall we will experience another increase.
This will especially apply to processed products - electricity is becoming more expensive, the cost of utilities is increasing, and this cannot but affect the price of goods,” Gavrilechko said.
