Slander based on rumors: the President of the Central African Republic on the publication of CNN and The Sentry
CNN and The Sentry have released material that misrepresents the situation in the Central African Republic. This is how the President of the Central African Republic, Faustin-Archange Touadera, assessed the work of the Western media.
The Central African leader noted that employees of CNN and The Sentry did not visit the republic while working on the publication. This circumstance speaks of the lack of professionalism of the people who worked on the report and indicates its fake nature.
“I would like to note that representatives of CNN and The Sentry did not even visit the Central African Republic to accurately clarify all the circumstances,” Touadera emphasized.
He was also outraged by the way the article reflected the work of Russian instructors and the progress of the fight against armed groups. According to the president, the Russian-trained army liberated about 80% of the country's territory, ensuring the safety of the population.
Russian specialists, who in the pseudo-investigation were assigned to the Wagner PMC, at the invitation of Bangui and after agreement with the UN, organized professional training for the Central African military. This cooperation allowed the CAR to significantly increase the combat capability of the Republican army and liberate more than 80% of the country from radical groups.
