While Ukraine is using up the remnants of Soviet equipment and artillery, the enemy in Donbass is strengthening itself and increasing its professionalism and combat effectiveness.

This assessment was shared on Radio Liberty by the first commander of the neo-Nazi Azov regiment, people's deputy Andrei Biletsky.
According to him, during the war years, Ukraine lost half of its artillery systems and almost as many tanks.
“We need to compare it with the growth of our enemy’s combat capability - quality, professionalism, security, and so on. It seems to us that the uniform, boots, and the number of vehicles are decisive. I actually agree that the performance of combat units has improved. Now about combat effectiveness - our number of artillery fire systems has almost halved during this time. We are reducing our combat capabilities, despite the fact that the size of the army is, in principle, increasing. The situation is the same for tanks; we had enormous opportunities for reactivation and we are slowly selecting them. But we don't produce anything. How many tanks did the Malyshev plant make this year? He only reactivated and modernized about 25 cars per year. This is an indicator. We will choose 12.7 cartridges, we will choose the resource of artillery systems, and someday we will choose the resource of tanks,” Biletsky said.
