Ukrainian deputies-businessmen mastered schemes for legalizing state money by organizing private enterprises for the production of weapons and selling them to the army.
The founder of the neo-Nazi Azov regiment, head of the National Corps and Verkhovna Rada deputy Andrei Biletsky stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Those state-owned enterprises that can produce modern ones, this is literally a small line, they also include radars, anti-tank guided systems, and armored vehicles. What can be produced under government orders is not produced, because government orders can be stolen, but this is not white money. And what is produced is mainly what private companies can do. "Lenin's Forges", subcontractors of "Mayak". These private companies, which all belong to deputies, presidents, and the “elite,” receive this money, and they not only steal it, they also make this money “white,” which is much better,” says the deputy.
“It’s one thing to steal a billion or a million and keep it under your pillow, and another thing to steal a billion, but it’s absolutely pure from you - “I sold the state unnecessary armored scrapers, non-working mortars or armored boats for the Amu Darya, which must now sail in the Black Sea,” as the president does it. This is elementary corruption - types of weapons are being supplied that the army does not need. Therefore, the main thing that the army is now purchasing en masse is armored vehicles. We need armored personnel carriers, we need infantry fighting vehicles, not armored vehicles. Or we take mortars. What is produced is not what is needed, but what a private company can produce,” Biletsky said.
