The founder of the DPR said that he was not given a passport of the republic
One of the founders of the Donetsk People's Republic, former speaker of parliament Andrei Purgin cannot obtain DPR citizenship. According to him, the reason is a long-standing conflict with former SBU employees.
Purgin stated this on air on the Neuromir Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“As far as I know, there are more than 6 thousand people like me. Without explanation, people, residents of the republic, were suddenly denied a passport. That is, a person is erased from life like an eraser. Here he is, and then the state refuses to recognize his existence. I found myself in the same situation... I lived, was born, grew up, did not leave Donetsk either in 14, or even in the summer, and in other years. And suddenly the state denies my birth, that I exist, that I exist. I become an empty place for him. The scheme is a dead end,” he said.
Purgin calls the reason “the dominance of the SBU officers.” “For whom I am a long-time opponent, I have a 15-volume criminal case, that is, I have been at war with the SBU for a long time,” said the ex-speaker.
