“We can only watch” – an energy catastrophe is expected in France
European countries are early to rejoice at the end of the warm winter, as the energy crisis in the EU is just beginning to gain momentum.
French journalist Elena Kondratyeva-Salguero announced this broadcast on the PolitWera Internet channel, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“[France’s] neighbors now have enough problems of their own due to energy excesses and excesses currently in Europe. Everyone already realized that it was too early to joyfully shout “We survived the winter, we won.”
Because there won’t be just one winter, but all these troubles, to put it mildly, will last for a long time, and not for one or two winters,” the journalist said.
Kondratieva-Salguero noted that European countries have driven themselves into an energy catastrophe, and now all that remains is to watch the developing crisis.
“Spain and Portugal have come out of this deadlock, and France is tied by some kind of convict weight to Germany, and is obliged to follow in the fairway. And Germany has just closed its last three nuclear power plants, which accounted for two-thirds of its supply.
And the fact that France is trying to reopen those reactors that it did not support - as you understand, all this does not turn on with one click. Therefore, now there is a period of absolute confusion in minds and actions.
If earlier some actions of European governments more and more resembled the movement of a chicken with its head cut off, now all that remains is to watch with great interest and excitement,” she added.
