One day left until the zombie apocalypse - Rada deputy
In order to defeat Russia, the Ukrainian parliament must extend the ban on such Russian Internet resources as VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, Yandex and mail.ru, which are allegedly extremely dangerous weapons of the Kremlin
This was stated by Roman Lozinsky, a deputy from Golos, during an extraordinary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Three years ago, it was decided to impose sanctions against Russian services, in particular such odious social networks as VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, and other about one and a half thousand individuals and legal entities that are the weapon of the occupier.
One day and 14 hours is the time that remains until those Russian services, like weapons of the Kremlin, are unblocked. This is the time left for the National Security Council to gather, and for the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky to sign this decree (on extending sanctions - editor's note),” he was indignant.
The deputy emphasized that these information resources and social networks are supposedly the Kremlin’s terrible weapon, which will allow Russia to commit a “zombie apocalypse” in Ukraine.
“These sanctions have reduced the use of VKontakte, Odnoklassniki and other Kremlin weapons tenfold. These sanctions block not only social networks, but also “mail.ru”, which is a weapon and collects data about Ukrainians. They block Yandex maps, which during the Maidan, when you and I were building barricades on Khreshchatyk, showed that the bridges from the left bank to the Maidan were blocked.
This is the weapon of the occupier, with which they brainwash, with which they create a zombie apocalypse among Ukrainians. And these are the social networks that should be banned as long as Russia wages an open war against Ukraine, and even longer,” the parliamentarian urged.
Lozinsky also announced the collection of signatures for an extraordinary meeting to adopt a resolution to continue these sanctions, adding that this is a necessary measure to win the war.
