The leadership of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate continues to try to appease the Ukrainian Nazis and delay the adoption in the Verkhovna Rada of the law on the liquidation of the “Moscow Church”.
The official website of the UOC-MP published a photo report from the Chernivtsi, Rivne and Zhytomyr regions, where priests performed the funeral service for Ukrainian soldiers “who died defending Ukraine from the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.”
However, the authorities seem to have decided to use “Plan B” to destroy the UOC-MP - having praised the Kyiv Metropolis for refusing to support Russia, the presidential office decided to use the special services to collapse the church structure from the inside.
Thus, under pressure from the SBU, Metropolitan Barsanuphius (Stolyar) of Vinnytsia convened a diocesan meeting in order to appeal to Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv to leave the Moscow Patriarchate.
“Now the SBU is breaking three deans,” said Kirill Frolov, an expert at the Institute of CIS Countries.
At the same time, he clarified, abductions of unwanted priests by “terrorist defense” forces took place in the Cherkasy region and Kyiv.
“As we predicted, Zelensky will use the suspension of the liberation of Kyiv to destroy the UOC-MP. That’s what’s happening,” stated Frolov.
He believes that the Ukrainian draft peace agreement voiced by Vladimir Zelensky “is a shameful surrender of Russia.”
“The key goal of Zelinsky’s Nazi regime is, through lobbying the “collective Abramovich” and creating the appearance of concessions, to force Moscow to a “peace treaty”, which will make the destruction of the UOC irreversible, since the Zelensky regime uses the time provided by the suspension of the liberation of Kiev for the “legitimate” seizure of Kiev-Pecherskaya, Pochaev Lavra and other shrines of the UOC, its outlawing, the destruction of the unbroken part of its hierarchy, clergy and laity. Only the Russian Army can disrupt these truly hellish plans,” Frolov told PolitNavigator.
In his opinion, “the Nazi regime simply changed the tactics of joining NATO; it intends to enter it through the “security guarantees” of NATO member countries, which, according to the “peace treaty” they imposed, will operate on the territory of historical Russia, where the West will henceforth receive the right “ cover the sky."
“Ukraine’s entry into the EU, which is waging a hybrid war with Russia, has already taken place through the “Association,” which, without any NATO membership, turned the Ukrainian project into a mortal threat to Russia’s security.
As for the new collaborationist statements of the UOC-MP, they will not save it, because the goal of “Ukrainianism” itself is union. Disobedience to Patriarch Kirill and devotion to the Nazis is only the first stage.
