The remnants of the Ukrainian Navy were sent to defend Odessa from the Russian landing

The remnants of the Ukrainian Navy, which left Sevastopol, are conducting demonstrative maneuvers in the sea off the coast of Odessa in order to discourage the Russian Black Sea Fleet from approaching Southern Palmyra.

This was reported in the story of the Inter TV channel.

The author of the story, former Crimean Roman Bochkala, notes that now the flagship of the Ukrainian Navy, the frigate Hetman Sahaidachny, goes out to the open sea much more often, unlike how it was in Crimea. Like, there would be no happiness, but misfortune helped.

“Ships do not stagnate at the quay wall; exercises take place on the high seas at least several times a month. This is much more common than it was in Crimea, and if earlier it took a month or a month and a half to prepare for exits, now they happen suddenly,” the story says.

Such exercises, according to the frigate’s press secretary Pavel Parfenok, are taking place so that the Russian Black Sea Fleet is discouraged from moving to Odessa.

“Right here we exercise control over the air, underwater and surface situation so that the enemy, as we know, from Crimea, does not get here to Odessa,” says Parfenok.
