Anton Gerashchenko, member of the board of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, stated this on TV channel 112, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the politician, before coming to the mayor's office, the armed criminal quarreled with his wife and shot her, and before that he lost his job and was dependent for several months.
“There was a family conflict, a man in a mental disorder first shot his wife, then decided to end his life in such a loud way. Taking the life of a man and injuring another... The man, apparently, was in a serious mental state. According to available information, he lost his job in May; he worked at one of the service stations in Kharkov, and his wife threatened him, possibly with divorce. From what we understand, there was a family scandal, as a result of which he shot his wife,” Gerashchenko said.
