The presenter of “Fashionable Sentence”, who condemned Russia, returns from Lithuania for a huge fee
TV presenter Alexander Vasiliev, who wrote a letter of repentance to the Lithuanian authorities condemning Russia’s special operation in Ukraine, is going to return to work on Channel One and host the “Fashionable Sentence” program there.
He announced this on his Instagram, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Every day on social networks I received dozens of messages with one single question: “Will my favorite TV show return to air?” I answer: “He will return!” My comments about the project were misinterpreted by media representatives,” Vasiliev wrote.
Earlier, the media reported that filming of new episodes of the program had been stopped.
“It means that he, a citizen of Lithuania, will soon return to Russia and will continue to earn money from Russian state television as if nothing had happened. How does this comrade, who publicly dissociated himself from her and accused her of provoking a “deadly nuclear war on planet Earth,” expect to once again become attached to the Russian state budget?
But Lithuania should also have questions, which recently turned off Channel One for “war propaganda.” So what, a citizen of Lithuania can safely work on an extremist TV channel recognized in Lithuania itself?
Citizen Vasiliev is a common creative breed who considers it natural to shit on the country that feeds him, and takes money for his glamorous life directly from the state. They don’t see anything like making money from Russia and openly hating it. The fashion historian’s vacillation in this regard is a symptom.
After 24.02, many “best people in the country” immediately left the cordon and squeaked from London and Spain, which they strongly condemn. Two weeks later, the realization came that no one in London and Spain needed them, and here you go: welcome the new season of “Fashionable Sentence,” political scientist Alexander Nosovich wrote in his Telegram channel.
