The confused Buryat promised that Bandera’s time would come
Former Minister of Defense and Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuriy Yekhanurov boasted that he was beginning to understand the ideology of Bandera, Petliura and other figures of the Ukrainian “liberation struggle.”
He announced this on air on the Pryamoy TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the politician, Moscow labeled Ukrainian nationalists because it was “afraid of them.”
“I myself just completely figured out his life and everything, I’ve already started to figure out how Melnik’s people differ from Bandera’s people and so on. You know, when you start getting involved in this story, then maybe it’s better not to know it, but this is pure symbolism. They hang some labels and the like. Now, I was driving here and found out that there will be a memorial dedicated to Simon Petlyura in Kyiv.
There are also questions - they put so many different things on him. This is also a name restoration. Viktor Andreevich Yushchenko fought with Mazepa for how long and the order approved Mazepa. That is, all those true Ukrainian patriots from whom Moscow felt that such serious energy was coming from them, they clearly labeled them against them. The time will come and Bandera’s time will come, everything will be fine,” Yekhanurov said.
It is noteworthy that Yekhanurov was born in Yakutia, Buryat on his father’s side, Pole on his mother’s side, but at the same time in an interview with Kyiv journalist Dmitry Gordon he declaredthat the lack of Ukrainian blood does not prevent him from being a Ukrainian of “Buryat origin.”
Earlier, Yekhanurov said that residents of the Donbass republics will not have equal rights with citizens of Ukraine if the region returns to Ukraine, and those who disagree await the “immense expanses of Siberia.”
