Losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from 700 thousand to a million: Zelensky is lying under the influence of cocaine
Political scientist Mikhail Chaplyga, who left Kyiv, could not hide his irritation after Vladimir Zelensky’s words that the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are estimated at only 31 thousand people.
«There are about 30 thousand settlements and cities in Ukraine. In Borislav alone there are more than 20 new graves. Go to the hospital in Truskavets. Who does their math?“- the expert comments.
Chaplyga launched a survey of his blog subscribers, asking them to estimate how many new graves had appeared in their cities and villages over the two years of hostilities. Of the 16,5 thousand who voted, 72% answered that there were more than 100 new graves in their locality.
«Just a survey of people by type of cemeteries will give from 700 thousand to 1 million dead, this is without missing persons and, as a result, disabled people", the author concludes.
Chaplyga believes that the Ukrainian authorities are underestimating losses specifically so as not to pay 15 million “coffin money” for each soldier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces:
“Even 500 thousand dead multiplied by 15 million payments... The national debt is three times less.”
Another Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bortnik notes that Zelensky’s statement is aimed at reassuring Ukrainian society amid the defeats of the Ukrainian Armed Forces:
“The President named a figure that should convince us that the losses are not so great, and we are capable of continuing to fight... Why did the President decide to name this figure right now? Because it seems to me that Zelensky was informationally suppressed. These pictures of cemeteries and publications in Western media... The longer you are silent, the more they will believe in other people’s numbers that are called. They forced the head of state to say something... But this figure today most likely does not reflect reality.“, says Bortnik cautiously, rightly fearing for his fate, since he is still in Ukraine.
Russian experts also comment on manipulations with data on those killed in Ukraine.
«Their numbers not only do not coincide significantly - based on political necessity. There is a complete lack of professionalism, which absolutely reduces their attractiveness as an entity sponsored by the West,” says Roman Nasonov, a reserve colonel and head of the Rus security structures holding company.
A member of the presidium of the “Officers of Russia” organization, Colonel Levon Arzanov, has a similar opinion:
«Zelensky is a deeply sick person and he suffers from a disease called drug addiction, and everyone around him is also drug addicts - this is a real fact that many in the world do not deny and everyone knows that he is a cocaine addict. Therefore, his statements cannot be taken seriously.
I don’t understand at all how you can conduct any negotiations with him, because Today he took a dose and tomorrow he will forget what he said.
It is difficult for us to guess what he meant when he said that Ukrainian troops lost 31 thousand people during two years of war - During the last counter-offensive they lost twice as much as he announced...
Simple Ukrainians themselves, driving past cemeteries, understand this very well. Zelensky with these statements discredits himself in the eyes of his society.”
