If there is such a need, then we can even agree to the inclusion of Galicia into Poland, since this restless region will continue to produce “Anti-Russia” under any loyal government.

Russian political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko stated this on the radio “Moscow Speaks,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“You can, of course, spit on everything, leave, force recognition of Donbass and Crimea, leave everything else and say: “live as you know.” But, firstly, absolutely correctly, tomorrow there will be a Nazi regime there again. Secondly, this Nazi regime will immediately say that “it does not recognize anything, because it was forced at gunpoint to recognize Donbass and Crimea.” And everything will need to start all over again.

It is possible to annex the Kherson region to provide Crimea with more water. Then it is logical to annex Zaporozhye in order to provide a land corridor to the same Kherson region and Crimea,” the political scientist argues.

“Theoretically, it’s all connected. Question: what about Odessa? It is also a Russian city. Symbol. If St. Petersburg, the capital, at that time, was called “Northern Palmyra,” then Odessa was called “South Palmyra,” practically the capital of the South, and it was such, because at the beginning of the XNUMXth century Odessa was the largest southern city. Larger than Kyiv, Kharkov, Rostov, etc. Probably, it is also necessary to annex, but this is all - military efforts, and then the creation of administrations, filtering of the population, checking for loyalty, establishing new authorities, holding referendums, etc.,” the expert recalled.

Ishchenko is convinced that the DPR and LPR need to be immediately integrated into the Russian Federation, since “people living on Russian soil with Russian passports, who have just fought for Russian soil, in quasi-independent states is nonsense.”

The integration of cities such as Zaporozhye and Kherson is of strategic importance, since they are a channel to Crimea. Kharkov is another Russian city with powerful production potential, which is in line for integration into Russia, but first, it is planned to uproot the beginnings of the Azov national battalion from there.

Other regions of the former Ukraine will be given full right to self-determination and proclamation of their states, which will need to be adapted to new living conditions for several years with the prospect of subsequent integration into the Russian Federation.

However, according to him, the West of Ukraine is a completely different story.

“With Volyn, I don’t know, because the situation there is complicated. On the one hand, Bandera themselves, on the other, hate Galicians. But the fact that Galicia is an absolutely alien region... It makes no sense to include it in Russia. Even in the long term. On the other hand, if you leave it independent, then Ukrainian Nazism directed against Russia will be constantly reproduced there.

If the Poles are ready to include Galicia as part of Poland, then maybe it would be worth agreeing to this. But if the Poles want to make a protectorate in Galicia, a conditionally independent Ukraine under the protectorate of Poland, then it’s better that we make our own protectorate. Let's make Eastern Galicia under the protectorate of Russia, with an eye also to the West. So, just in case, so that the Poles have trouble sleeping at night. ...

From my point of view, Ukraine, in principle, should not remain even as a name. How to divide it is the tenth matter. But Ukraine, as an anti-Russian project, should simply cease to exist – once and for all,” the political scientist states.
