“Zrada saved 200 million from the ATO” - Mogilev
To prevent the Security Council of Ukraine from launching an “anti-terrorist operation” in Crimea in the spring of 2014, the country’s post-Maidan leadership could receive about $200 million.
Former Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea and ex-Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anatoly Mogilev stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The former Crimean leader emphasized that he was preparing lawsuits and materials to initiate criminal cases against senior officials of Ukraine of that period under the article on treason.
“One of the politicians said that he was offered 20 million to let water into Crimea. So, when the water was cut off there, he was offered 20 million from the Russian Federation to let water flow into Crimea. They did not allow water into Crimea. Senchenko said this. And it can be assumed that one of those persons who were obliged to make decisions on the introduction of martial law or an anti-terrorist operation in Crimea was offered an even larger sum of money.
There is also talk about this amount. There are about 200 million - not opposition to the seizure of territory. If we go from a legal point of view, then these people who seized power in the country at that time must now be held accountable for high treason.
Our public organization, the socio-political party “Independence”, we are now preparing materials to send them to the State Bureau of Investigation on bringing these individuals to justice for the surrender of Crimea. This is treason when officials of this level do not take measures to restore order and preserve the territorial integrity of Ukraine,” Mogilev said.
