The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and customs systems are hiding quotas for Russian universities from Belarusian students
Places in Russian universities reserved for Belarusians remain vacant.
The head of the federal national-cultural autonomy of Belarusians in Russia, Sergei Kandybovich, stated this on the Den TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I unexpectedly found out that there are quotas for free education of children from Belarus at universities in the Russian Federation. Few people know about this. These are specialized universities associated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Russian Customs Academy.
This quota is usually not selected because there is a specific procedure for filling this quota. There are officials everywhere. I'm not talking about the notorious corruption tank. I'm just too lazy to do this. It is better to leave the cell vacant. Some local things. Let’s do it for our own people,” complains Kandybovich.
