Out of despair, Zelensky may fly to Donetsk by helicopter
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky is quite capable of going to Donetsk for negotiations, but the reason for such an impulse may be one of the latest emotional stupidities.
Ukrainian political journalist and TV presenter Vyacheslav Pikhovshek stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They have created some kind of plan by the end of the year that they are going to give birth and they are going to promote this plan. This is a “peace plan” - what Arestovich says about it, Kravchuk says. Judging by the restrained reaction from Berlin, from Paris, from Moscow, from Donetsk and Lugansk, this plan is intended to implement only one thing - to take away the time of President Zelensky himself,” says Pikhovshek.
“That is, they will create conditions under which we will again be told that this imitation of vigorous activity is Zelensky’s peace plan. He can’t do anything anymore, 2021 won’t give us any progress, nothing,” the journalist explained.
On the other hand, he allowed an alternative course of action, which, however, also cannot be called a peace plan.
“There is one cynical logic. In this studio, at least three people worked well and very closely with Mikhail Podolyak (now an adviser to the head of Zelensky’s office - ed.). Podolyak worked for Yanukovych.
Podolyak, who is a gynecologist by training, so you understand, is just adventurous enough to give Zelensky, say, before the early presidential elections - Zelensky realized that some other percentage allows him to be a candidate in the presidential elections, so he goes to early elections. Maybe at this moment Podolyak will tell him to take such an adventurous step - to get on a helicopter and fly to Donetsk and negotiate there. In an attempt to achieve a sharp increase in ratings for several days,” Pihovšek does not rule out.
“This option is possible. Will Zelensky agree to this? And we have already seen that in moments of hopelessness he goes to great lengths. After all, the proposal to disperse the Constitutional Court is definitely not from a great mind, but from very great emotions, that’s where it comes from. But it is impossible to establish peace, lasting peace, in this way,” the journalist concluded.
