“From Grodno to Berestye”: Putin will take all of Belarus - Svoboda
Russia may send troops to Belarus if necessary to protect the Russian-speaking population of this country.
This was stated at a press conference in Kyiv by ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, deputy of the Kyiv City Council from the banned VO Svoboda party in the Russian Federation, nationalist Yuriy Sirotyuk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the radical, Russian President Vladimir Putin will not allow a repetition of the Ukrainian scenario and a turn of Belarus towards the West.
“An entire division has been formed, which, if necessary, can enter the territory of Belarus. We remember the Zapad-2019 exercises, when Russia worked out the scenario of the annexation of Belarus and access to the Suwałki corridor.
Therefore, I think that we underestimate Putin, Putin will not give up Belarus... Russia, in my opinion, can apply all scenarios, up to direct military aggression, and under the guise of protecting Russian-speaking people, and, unfortunately, in Belarus Russian-speaking people live from Grodno to Berestya, totally Russian-speaking, and in their military concept, Russia will protect all Russian-speaking people, regardless of their will,” says Sirotyuk.
