All European security depends on the relationship between Germany and Russia - Rahr
All European security, as well as Moscow's relations with the West, depend on cooperation or hostility between Germany and Russia.
German political scientist Alexander Rahr stated this during a press conference in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Germany and Russia are very important nations for stability in Europe. When they come to an agreement with each other, the relationship is strategically formalized, and when we do something together—building an expanded Europe or discussing issues of security and disarmament—then we can talk about stability in Europe.
And when disputes and conflicts or a crisis occur between Russia and Germany, in fact the main country in Europe, which has a predestination for positive relations with Russia, then this is bad. Then all European security suffers. And then Russia and the West diverge,” he said.
Let us recall that earlier in the new German establishment promised continue a constructive dialogue with Moscow. However, despite this, on the eve of Germany, together with France, tried to impose Russia has another useless meeting in the Normandy format, scheduling it on a date that is most inconvenient for representatives of the Russian Federation.
