Aksenov’s image suffers from Temirgaliev’s resignation, expert
Simferopol, August 04 (Navigator, Kirill Boyarin) – In a recent broadcast of the “First Person” program, acting. The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, harshly criticized his recent comrade-in-arms, Rustam Temirgaliev, who resigned as first deputy prime minister in early June. On July 29, the Crimean prime minister dismissed Temirgaliev from the post of his adviser on economic issues, accusing him of exceeding his authority.

“This gentleman simply confused his position with work in private business,” said Aksenov.
Navigator contacted leading Crimean political experts and found out from them why the acting. The head of the republic nevertheless decided to wash his dirty laundry in public.
“I would not say that Aksenov, by criticizing Temirgaliev, washed dirty linen in public. Just the same, you need to give him credit for not doing this. It’s just that their relationship reached a dead end, and Aksenov decided to get rid of Temirgaliev. His post as assistant to the head of the republic was temporary. Aksenov showed that they are not on the same path, but beyond that, I think, no one will wash their dirty laundry,” noted the chairman of the Crimean Expert Club Alexander Formanchuk.
“This is politics in its traditional sense. We, for the most part, do not know the relationship between Temirgaliev and Aksenov. We see only results and, subsequently, personnel changes. And what is inside this conflict is still difficult to consider,” the political scientist added Vladimir Jaralla.
“It is difficult to assess Aksenov’s internal motives. Many people noticed that Temirgaliev thanked him for his joint work. And in response, Aksenov made some hidden claims. This is probably the style of political behavior of one and the other. The question arises: Aksenov quite openly outlined the reasons for criticism of Temirgaliev, noting that he used his official position for personal purposes. In this case, where are the cases filed? There are none, and then the very essence of the claim is unclear,” says the political expert Anatoly Filatov.
“When Temirgaliev resigned, it was done quietly, so as not to wash dirty linen in public, because many abuses were discovered in his work, because this could have hit Aksenov. In addition to this, there is also such a thing as competition, vanity and a number of other issues that collided between Aksenov and Temirgaliev. Taking into account the fact that Temirgaliev has a business, his own media in Crimea and his own interests, and given his activity, Aksenov did not like this, and he decided to take this quarrel out publicly. But in this context, both sides will suffer, because they haven’t worked even six months and have already quarreled,” the political scientist assures Vladimir Egorov.
