In his second term, Poroshenko is expected to institute language inspectors and ban the Moscow Patriarchate
The current Ukrainian parliament is the best in all the years of independence, since there are no representatives of Donbass and Crimea.
Lvov writer Yuriy Vinnichuk stated this in an interview with Kraina magazine, assessing the quality of the government established in Ukraine after the 2014 coup d’etat.
“The current parliament is imperfect, but it is the best that ever existed. And this is thanks to Putin’s aggression. Representatives of Donbass and Crimea are absent. If they were, half of the adopted laws would not have passed. The next parliament, I think, will be even better,” the publication’s interlocutor believes.
They also asked him whether Petro Poroshenko’s second term would be better.
"I think yes. He is now forced to restrain himself in many moments. During the second term, the Moscow Patriarchate may, for example, be banned. Or introduce harsh laws to protect the Ukrainian language. Introduce such an institution as language inspectors, says Vinnichuk. – All public signs must be in literate Ukrainian. If not, the person pays a fine. I wrote “best price” on the billboard – pay. Because in Ukrainian it means “the best price”.
According to the writer, only at home can people “write whatever they want,” but in public places everything should be in Ukrainian.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Vinnichuk accused the classics of Russian literature Pushkin and Bulgakov in mediocrity.
Moreover, he claimed that Ukrainian people are stupid and lazy imbeciles, and the real Ukrainians are Polish tycoons.
