According to Nurov, the priority plans of the Sevastopol authorities for the development of the city included objects of the museum fund and boarding houses, while unique natural objects are in a deplorable state.
“Omega Bay is one of the largest in size (700 meters long) and perhaps the most popular beach in the city, which is annually recognized by sanitary inspection services as unsuitable for swimming. Perhaps the main drawback of the beach is not very clean water and the shallowness of the bay. It becomes especially so in the middle of the holiday season, due to suspended particles of sand, small debris and algae that cover the sandy bottom of the bay,” says the text of the address to the president of the head of the investment center.
According to him, it is not possible to solve this problem with the help of the regional government alone, including due to the local budget deficit.
“And Omega Bay is one of the promising areas for the city’s development. The development of a tourist destination in Sevastopol is impossible without clean beaches and coastal waters.
Your assistance is needed to include the cleaning of this bay within the framework of one of the targeted programs of the Ministry of Natural Resources or the Ministry of Crimea as one of the events this year. This year will become a landmark year for the tourism industry in Crimea as a whole, and how the city welcomes guests will affect the tourist flow in the future,” Artem Nurov addresses Vladimir Putin.
