The fate of a large Russian enterprise depends on Sevastopol
Russian State Duma deputy Nikolai Pankov intends to appeal to the authorities of Sevastopol with a request to maintain the contract with the Trolza enterprise (Engels, Saratov region) for the supply of trolleybuses to the city.
This was reported by the Fourth Estate website, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The deputy has already addressed the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Evgeny Dietrich and the leadership of the city of Sevastopol on the issue of preserving the contract for the supply of trolleybuses for Crimea. The fate of this order, vital for Trolza, is currently being decided,” the article says.
In 2017, Trolza delivered 78 trolleybuses to Sevastopol under a non-commercial leasing program, and another 2018 in 50. It was expected that another 2019 new trolleybuses would be delivered to Sevastopol in 2020 and 100. However, in the spring, several lawsuits were filed against Trolza for debt collection. The company's employees received notice of possible layoffs.
