Businessmen jumping on the Maidan howled from martial law
Martial law, introduced by the Verkhovna Rada, brought Ukrainian businessmen to the brink of bankruptcy.
Economic expert Boris Kushniruk stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, even those businessmen who supported the Maidan are suffering.
“We have declared martial law. I understood for sure that the exchange rate situation was stabilizing. But the situation, for example, with investments, with the purchase of durable goods, do you know that we are experiencing a collapse? The purchase of real estate and the purchase of durable goods have actually stopped. I have businessmen who are simply screaming about the fact that they simply found themselves in a situation of semi-bankruptcy. Moreover, one of those people stood on the Maidan under bullets on February 20 and 19, 2014,” said Kushniruk.
Let us remind you that the Ukrainian authorities declared martial law in 10 regions of the country in response to detain Navy boats Russian border guards when trying to pass from the Black Sea to the Sea of Azov through the Kerch Strait.
