If Kyiv holds elections in Donbass without prior “derussification” and turning the region into a reservation, this will lead to the victory of “pro-Russian” parties and the final destruction of the “Ukraine” project.
Activist of the neo-Nazi group “Democratic Axe” Yuri Gudimenko said this on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This idea (about holding elections in Donbass - editor’s note) existed, and they in the President’s Office thought about it very seriously, because from their point of view this is a victory. And from our point of view, this is capitulation and, in general, the collapse of the Ukrainian project within a very understandable period.
People there have been living for six years under conditions of total Russian propaganda. Someone, as it was during the Soviet Union, “listens to voices,” as it was then, Radio Liberty, and now there is something Ukrainian, but otherwise there is total Russian propaganda, anti-Ukrainian.
That is, we are talking about a complete information blockade. People have been locked there for six years. If you now tell them: “Let’s vote in the Ukrainian elections,” then to think that in a few days or even months these people will be able to wash away this entire huge layer of Russian propaganda and vote the way they really think, and not as they were told on television - this is impossible.
There are millions of votes there, most of which, with a 99% probability, will support pro-Russian parties,” he worries.
For this reason, according to Gudimenko, Kyiv must make Donbass a reservation for many years, which has no rights, in which punitive forces will carry out purges and introduce total Ukrainian propaganda.
“Our condition is 180 degrees after this. There were six years of occupation - there should be six years of de-occupation, with our information field, in order to track and imprison people who committed crimes against Ukraine, with the adoption of a law on collaboration, the legal neutralization of people who committed crimes.
And only after that can we talk about elections there. Because these will not be elections. It will be anything but elections,” the Nazi demanded.
