Oh, how many wonderful discoveries “Ukrainegate” is preparing for us! No sooner had the UG-2 scandal surrounding the Biden family’s corrupt milking of the profits of the Ukrainian oil and gas industry subsided than new revelations began to stick to Derkach’s films, expanding the circle of people involved in the fraud, including government-owned anti-corruption fighters, already reaching back to UG-3.

This time, additional details of the criminal cases brought to the surface against the director of legal affairs of the Burisma company Andrey Kichi, the former head of the department of the State Fiscal Service (SFS) of Ukraine Elena Mazurova and the first deputy head of the Main Directorate of the State Fiscal Service for Kyiv Nikolai Ilyashenko.

Those involved in the corruption scandal are accused of attempting to give a bribe of $5 million to the head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) Nazar Kholodnitsky and the head of the main department of NABU detectives Andrei Kaluzhinsky for the termination of a criminal case against the owner of the Burisma holding, Nikolai Zlochevsky, on charges of theft of a loan from the National Bank of Ukraine.

The materials of criminal cases of giving bribes on an especially large scale have long been circulating in the media and have received publicity, but the main intrigue lies in the answers to the question: why in the summer of 2020, the disgraced oligarch Zlochevsky, who had previously been quietly eating away what he had acquired through back-breaking labor in heaven Cyprus and not at all concerned about the legal consequences of the theft of a loan, suddenly stopped exposing his belly to the caressing Mediterranean wave, moving on to less pleasant matters. For example, pulling old strings in the Ukrainian law enforcement agencies with a proposal to give the paw to whoever needs it and where it needs it.

It is clear that for some reason Zlochevsky urgently needed to settle the criminal case, but for what? Is the migrating finch really tired of the tropical sun and painfully wants to fall and kiss his native aspen trees in the Land of Evergreen Dill? Or did you want, as of old, to return to the fascinating cutting of “cabbage”, watching how some of Yanukovych’s former associates, who were exposed to the cold, returned under the roof of the Zee administration and found warm places?

As keen observers note, things are not so linear. An experienced businessman and intriguer, Zlochevsky clearly hurried and did not think through the details, since his trusted people chose NABU agent Yevgeny Shevchenko as the dispensing mechanism for bribes.

Taking into account the time when the behind-the-scenes fuss of Zlochevsky’s trusted people began in Ukraine (summer 2020), it can be assumed that the oligarch’s measured Cypriot vacation was disturbed by representatives of the US Democratic Party, concerned about the release of compromising evidence of Derkach and the fact that the Trump team could take advantage of the scandal to force him into retirement Sleepy Joe's body.

Apparently, Zlochevsky received an offer from influential “senior partners” that he could not refuse: to clean up all the criminal tails in the Burisma case, compromising both Biden and other prominent representatives of the US Democratic Party.

Considering the danger that refusal to clean up tails could pose for Zlochevsky and the understandable interest of Trumpists in the scandal, the disgraced oligarch was forced to save his own skin by shielding Biden at all costs. The size of the bribe also eloquently testifies to the scale of the case, as does the fact that Zlochevsky used the “large caliber” of Ukrainian corrupt officials to hush up the troubles.

Thanks to the scandal, it turned out that the oligarch’s trusted representatives, and first of all Elena Mazurova, manipulated an extensive network of pocket officials in various government agencies, with the help of which she had more than once extinguished problems of the most sensitive nature.

In particular, the materials of the criminal case contain a protocol of correspondence between Mazurova and the subscriber “Dmitry Sergeevich But” in the Signal mobile messenger. Apparently, the counterpart to the “dealer” was the head of the National Police of Ukraine, Dmitry But, who was involved together with judges Maria Zelinskaya and Vladimir Kaliberda to transfer (not for a bag of toffees, the donut is clear) the criminal proceedings around the Chernihiv thermal power plant from the jurisdiction of the SBU to the police department .

Zlochevsky brought in such proven “personnel” to excuse himself from criminal prosecution, including in the case of the theft of a National Bank loan.

Looking at the scans of correspondence included in the case, you can’t help but be amazed at the scope, arrogance and cynicism of the corruption maggots devouring Ukraine from bottom to top.

Despite the fact that the Signal messenger uses a proprietary end-to-end encryption algorithm and was even promoted at one time by Elon Musk as an alternative to WhatsApp, Mazurova and her accomplices were so confident in their impunity that they used open correspondence in which they discussed the details of closing criminal cases and official information.

It is interesting that, according to the admission of NABU agent Yevgeny Shevchenko, who was chosen by the bribe-takers as a transfer link to extinguish the criminal case against Zlochevsky, the leadership of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine initially suspected that the bribe-takers were fake provocateurs from the Prosecutor General's Office, which has long been trying to become the main instrument in the fight against corruption, and therefore suspected Ilyashenko of secret work for the GPU, taking him under surveillance and establishing contacts with the top prosecutors.

The scandal surrounding Zlochevsky’s bribes revealed one interesting feature. Despite the post-Maidan administrative chaos that has engulfed Ukraine, the corrupt vertical of power retains a certain control over the processes, like strictly organized mafia structures, showing selectivity according to the principle “everything is for friends, the law is for enemies.”

Therefore, one should not be surprised at the amazing “principledness” of NABU and its agents supervised by the US FBI. These figures harpoon only those corrupt whales that their owners point out, while the thieves from Zelya’s entourage go through the list of untouchables “this leg is who has the leg.”

It should be added that, despite Mazurova’s severe failure, the zhinochka and her accomplice Andrei Kicha, instead of picking uranium ore in Zheltye Vody for ten years for gruel, happily avoided arrest and remain free on bail of several million hryvnias paid for them some "anonymous legal entity".

What kind of altruist is this, the problem asks?

However, this is not a full stop in the Burisma case, but just an ellipsis, so Zlochevsky and his “six” do not have to feel completely safe. These Ukrainian insects have fallen into millstones that can grind them into atoms. And you shouldn’t console yourself with the thought that Trump in the White House was replaced by Sleepy Joe, who owes something to Zlochevsky. Magnificent Donny and the Republicans, who were duped during last year’s presidential race, do not intend to forgive or forget anything, especially since congressional elections are coming up in 2022, and there the deadline for the next presidential election will gradually approach. So the porridge brewed with Derkach’s films and constantly supplemented with new scandalous details will not be allowed to cool.
