Now, when the liberal sector is howling like a beluga over the inclusion of a number of media outlets in the register, primarily the Dozhd TV channel, the navalist communist Valery Rashkin, who willingly goes on air there, has decided to speak out against the institution of foreign agents.
He dedicated his next unauthorized rally to this topic, which he held on Saturday in the center of Moscow under the guise of a “meeting with voters.”
“More than 40 media outlets have been declared foreign agents, and this list continues to grow. What's this? Is it possible to accept the fact that you have strangled the media and freedom of speech?” – said Rashkin.
He also included a clause on foreign agents in the final resolution of the meeting.
However, the pathos of the communist was lowered today by the chairman of the liberal Yabloko party, Sergei Mitrokhin. He held a similar meeting with voters and asked his few supporters to go to Rashkin’s event to ask him why the Communist Party of the Russian Federation voted for the laws on foreign agents. And Yabloko did it.
The Navalnist communist himself did not dare to comment on the sensitive topic. His colleague and ally Nina Ostanina did this for him. She became widely known in the spring, when the card index of one of the beauty salons in Moscow got onto the Internet. It unexpectedly turned out that a 65-year-old communist woman ordered an exotic anus whitening procedure there.
After such an embarrassment, Ostanina does not hesitate to lie publicly.
“I see a lot of people running around here asking provocative questions. Who and when told you that the communists supported the law on foreign agents? Yes, this is against us, against the opposition, today the presidential administration introduced this law to the State Duma. And our communist comrades followed 30 journalists. .. Here even German television came up and asked whether it was true that the communists supported the law on foreign agents. Not true!" – Ostanina said on Saturday at the rally.
In fact, the Communist Party faction voted for amendments to the law on including the media in the list of foreign agents in 2017. In 2019, the Communists supported the law on adding individuals to the list of foreign agents. Moreover, one of the authors of the bill was a member of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Yuri Sinelshchikov.
