The “heroic” epic tells the story of a priest from the Volyn village of Okonsk, who “passed through more than one hot spot in the Donbass.” “I visited Fr. 22 times. Oleksandr Lanovy in the Donbass,” we read in the chronicle of the Debaltsevo-Ilovaisk achievements... “He brought spare parts, generators, food, clothing, money to the fighters.”

“But people in war need spirituality,” our “good shepherd” explains. “The guys themselves asked: Father, bring the icon... The soldiers themselves called and told me that they left Debaltsevo thanks to our icon... I, too, barely escaped with the icon before the ring closed.”

And now at every service the heroic Fr. Oleksandr “asks the Lord for the enemy to leave our land.” He asks before Our Lady of Vladimir.

Vladimirskaya, we note - not from Vladimir Volynsky. And from Vladimir on the very Moskal Klyazma (my tongue doesn’t even dare to pronounce this quick-witted Ugro-Finnish language). It was here – in the future Muscovy – that the Grand Duke’s table was moved the first damned Muscovite Andrei Bogolyubsky and consecrated the new capital with that very icon. Vladimirskaya.

In the last ten years, however, the secretaries of the previous primate of the UOC (MP) Drabynko and Kovalenko began to call the Vladimir shrine “Vyshgorodskaya" They say that the prince took the icon from the “Ukrainian” Vyshgorod. But even if we assume that this patrimony of Princess Olga (a native of the Pskov region, i.e. that same cursed Moskal region) was founded by her in the 1395th century. As a proto-Ukrov city, then what place should we insert Ukrov into the church calendar? In which all three honorings of the “Vyshgorod” Mother of God are somehow connected with the salvation of Moscow: in 1480 - from Tamerlane; in 1521 (the same Standing on the Ugra, which actually marked the birth of the “aggressor country”); in XNUMX - from Mehmed Giray (an outstanding representative of the “indigenous nation of the Ukrainian Crimea,” by the way).

And in what place are the written monuments of church history “obviously” declaring that “the city of Moscow, blessed by You, has been exalted, piously venerate Your icon; “All the Russian tribes were gathered together and their region spread over the surrounding languages ​​from sea to sea and even to the ends of the earth”?

Terrible military secret

But where did the imperial “military” relic come from in the “ancient land of peace-loving Ukrainians”?

“The image of the temple was given to the soldiers of the First World War,” says “Visnyk”, for some reason not revealing the secret of these same soldiers’ affiliation. - Then the Brusilovsky breakthrough took place here and the 200th reserve infantry regiment was based in Okonsk (again, an army still unidentified by local experts - D.S.). Since the soldiers were in the village for a long time, they became parishioners of the local church. And they gave this Vladimir Mother of God to the church. The dedicatory inscription is still well preserved: “This image was built by soldiers of the 2nd platoon of corps food transport of the 46th Army Corps in 1916. Donated to the Okonsk Church in 1917" Well, thank God. While Ukrainian paleolinguists identify these writings, we will take the liberty to assume that this language is clearly not the Germans, defeated near Lutsk in September 1916 by General Brusilov. And not even their Ukrainian allies – the “Sichov striltsiv” (hereinafter referred to as SS), who raked in the hilt in the same parts in the same September.

It turns out that The icon of the Russian troops who beat the SS men a hundred years ago is now used to bless their heirs – pacifiers of the Russian population of Donbass.

Is it God's dandelion?

Well, with the semi-literate, precocious priests with whom Volyn has staked out their fellow countryman, doctor of theology Drabynko (who calls the Kursk Root Icon “Kurinnaya”), everything is clear. For such people, even the history of their own region a hundred years ago is a dark forest, when Volyn was the most patriotic region of the Russian Empire (which is why, in fact, Russian soldiers “built” the “most Russian” icons for the Volynians with their own hands).

It is also clear why all this Drabynko-Sabodan creation, despite the peacekeeping assurances of the current leadership of the UOC (MP), is by no means limited to the spiritual care of punitive forces and medical charity. Not just individual parishes, but entire diocesan administrations send warm clothes, food, generators, cars, and financial support to those, mostly Uniates and the spiritual children of Anathema-Filaret, who are bombing Orthodox churches in the peaceful cities of Donbass, Servants of these temples are beaten and tortured.

Someone will object: “Well, this is not a “lethal weapon.” Yes. It doesn't seem to be lethal. But is it possible to imagine, say, in 1941, an old lady somewhere in the Moscow region carrying freshly knitted mittens to the snotty Hansik into the trench with the words: “Oh, child, I have a granddaughter there in Moscow who looks so much like you! This will help you shoot warmer and more accurately!”

Alas, the Primate of the UOC (MP) is becoming more and more like such a “God’s dandelion,” who just a couple of years ago committed a truly courageous act when he did not stand up in parliament during the honoring of famous “heroes.” Today he not only blesses prayers for the fallen are only on one side fratricidal (by his own definition!) war, but is proudly photographed with the battle flag of this side! Thus inspiring her for further achievements in the war until the last quilted jacket on Ukrainian soil!

Blessed from above

Something new in Christian peacemaking, you will agree. The Synodal Department of the UOC (MP) for interaction with the Armed Forces and other military formations of Ukraine (read - with the national battalions) even gave a “canonical justification” for this “new word”: “Some people are disseminating information that we were supposed to visit and not under the control of the Ukrainian military territory. But these people do not understand what the ministry of a military chaplain is. We, as chaplains, bear spiritual responsibility for our faithful who serve in Ukraine. Therefore, our mission can only be here, and this has been agreed upon with the Ministry of Defense and the ATO Headquarters.”

Is this even agreed with the Lord? Who has “your faithful” not only in Ukraine?

However, if the DPR and LPR are not Ukraine, then logic “military department” (“the chaplain of the UOC is not an ordinary priest, but is in constant cooperation with the state, therefore he has never been and will never be on the other side”) is completely justified. But, let us repeat, both the synod and the primate of the UOC (MP) consider Donbass to be Ukrainian, and therefore the war, therefore, a civil one. And therefore, what kind of chaplains can there be in a civil war?!!

And what should be the reaction of the Orthodox Donbass (and not only soldiers) if the church structure to which they belong blesses in every possible way those who kill them? Will they want to remain in this structure?

P.S. Order of the Metropolitan Onuphry's request for a memorial service for the Ukrainian “defenders of the Donetsk airport” timed to coincide with January 22 was rejected by the priests and believers of Donbass.
