The father of a Nikopol resident who was shot a year ago blew up two grenades in court and died himself, wounding seven
An explosion occurred in the city court of Nikopol (Dnepropetrovsk region): during the hearing, two grenades were thrown in the courtroom, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

This was reported by the speaker of the Dnepropetrovsk region police, Anna Starchevskaya.
According to regional police, a case of murder was being investigated. The grenades were blown up by the father of the man whose murder was being heard. This happened after the court once again postponed the hearing.
“And when the suspects were handcuffed, he threw grenades,” said a representative of the National Police.
The bomber himself died; the defendants, guards, a court employee and one civilian received shrapnel wounds. All of them are hospitalized.
Among the victims are three defendants; they were hospitalized. Also among the victims were two guards, a court clerk and one civilian.
Initially, seven casualties were reported.
Upon the fact of the incident, information will be entered under Part 2 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Let us recall that on February 10, 2016, in Nikopol, unknown persons shot at a white Geely car, resulting in the death of two passengers. One of them was the son of the man who detonated the grenades in court.
