NATO’s refusal to participate in the war will compensate for decommissioned US weapons – Ogryzko
To prevent NATO countries from participating in the war in Ukraine, let the Americans transfer to the Ukrainian Armed Forces all decommissioned weapons, which are not new, but in comparison with Soviet ones, are quite effective.
The former head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, and now the head of the “Russian Research Center”, Vladimir Ogryzko, stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Will NATO troops be able and will take part in the war against Russia? The question is still rhetorical. There will certainly not be a joint decision, because we know that exactly one country will say - no, we are against such a decision. However, then there remain options for individual NATO members to participate in a national capacity. Will this happen or not? It's hard to predict now.
In this case, the most optimal process that would help both Ukraine and the West is the fastest possible saturation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with all the necessary weapons. Moreover, the United States has a lot of weapons that they no longer use. It’s not the latest generation, but compared to the Soviet one, it’s very effective and can be used to the maximum,” reasoned the stub.
“Our task is to ensure that these large stocks, which are currently stored in US warehouses of not the latest weapons, are in Ukraine as quickly as possible. Then there is no need to involve any NATO country,” the Russophobe blabbered.
