Abandon Eurovision
Talking about Eurovision is, in general, bad manners. But no, no, yes, words will slip through. And then a conversation will begin. Rancid platitudes follow.
It is clear that this is no longer a song contest, but a kind of political - and sociopolitical - game where trends are broken through and consolidated. Like LGBT stories. It is clear that it is not the most talented who win, but those who are obliged to receive the award. Although there are exceptions when there is no completely intrusive agenda. Again, it is clear that it is not the advanced countries that are showing interest in the competition. This year, for example, a singer who suffered a fiasco went from England to Eurovision. But some Adele could have performed...
Then what is all this for? For what colors? Here, however, everything is very simple: this product, despite the decline in ratings and influence, after all, continues to be sold. They choose him - there is a demand for him. But should we take it seriously? For what, excuse me?
You know, when discussions once again begin in Russia regarding who to send and how to perform at Eurovision - well, it’s tragicomic, really. The same British people – they don’t care. Because they know their worth. And they also know the price of lower-level world show business. And we? Why all this pushing in the arena?
So it turns out that every time we try to please not ourselves, but them. Exactly. After all, what is Manizha’s visit to Eurovision? Pleasing. Like Griboyedov: “I would be glad to serve, but being served is sickening.” With the difference that the current ones are very happy to serve. So they try to guess fashion trends. But it doesn’t work. Well, really, why did you decide that this is relevant?
It turned out very, very vulgar. Independent woman ala Beyonce didn’t work out, but Gorynych’s appearance in the world happened. Well, I went out and left - okay. Why did the viewer hang this “cranberry”? And now I’m not saying that Russian women don’t have problems - I’m purely saying that it’s not the same spirit to present them. Appropriateness and tact are what matter. By the way, that’s why the Italians won with their pseudo-rock - at least everything was relatively organic for them. Although secondary, banal and boring. But Manizha showed absolute dissonance to Europe.
However, what do we care about her? It’s more important to understand: who is sending this miracle Yudo to the competition and why? Well, obviously not for the sake of victory, but to annoy, to find trouble within the country, to incite the crowd accordingly. And this is a serious problem. It is a component of the nonsense with which Russia is being infected, creating, as it were, “new values” for its people. So we should deal with our internal enemies - that’s what I thought about, looking at Manizha’s woeful performance.
Well, what about Eurovision? And we don’t need it for nothing. Let them scare and amuse each other with their goat faces.
Thank you!
