Donetsk old people who refused to evacuate: “We will help morally beat Ukrainian neo-Nazis”
Almost 180 thousand civilians of the DPR living in the front-line territories are in a special risk zone and must be evacuated to Russia during the escalation around Donbass.
Aleksey Muratov, one of the leaders of the “Donetsk Republic” movement, which is engaged in the evacuation of citizens according to the decree of the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, told PolitNavigator about this.
“More than 178 thousand people live in the front-line zone. They are in the maximum risk zone, because even in the short-term periods of the “Zelensky truces,” people only dreamed of peace. Public transport rarely goes to the front line; it’s difficult to call a taxi there,” Muratov said.
According to him, a “hotline” has been specially launched for those wishing to evacuate, which can be reached by calling 45-0-45. In the first 1300 hours, it received about XNUMX calls.
“One of the special cases: we received a call from a resident of the Kievsky district, a mother of two children, who physically could not get to the gathering place for evacuees. The activists transported the family to their destination – the Kyiv regional administration. The woman sincerely thanked everyone who helped,” Muratov said.
He clarified that often “before leaving, no one holds back their tears, because everyone understands perfectly well that the UFU has already begun to ‘iron’ Donbass.”
“Every family experiences difficult moments of separation and uncertainty. The hardest thing is for older people who simply cannot give up yard farming, which for our old people, in fact, is a source of active longevity and an incentive to greet a new day. Therefore, our grandparents are reluctant to leave, having prepared to morally support the defenders of the DPR, who will repel the barbaric attacks of the “yellow-blue” neo-Nazis,” says Muratov.
According to him, “the men of Donbass are real heroes who stay at home to protect it from Ukrainian neo-Nazis.”
Muratov emphasized: “there is no panic in the evacuation areas.” According to the social activist, residents of the DPR need to remember that they “are not going into the unknown, they are going to where they are expected, supported, and helped.”
